Under the provisions of TMS 11, when it is probable that total contract costs will exceed total contract revenue, the expected loss shall be recognised as an expense immediately. Therefore, if a company estimates that it will incur a loss on construction contract, it should immediately recognize that loss in full. This treatment is in line with conservatism principle of accounting. TMS 11 İnşaat Sözleşmeleri Standardı’na göre toplam sözleşme maliyetlerinin toplam sözleşme gelirini aşması muhtemel ise beklenen zarar inşaat sözleşmesinin zararla sonuçlanacağının tahmin edildiği yıl gider olarak finansal tablolara yansıtılır. Muhtemel sözleşme zararının tamamının finansal tablolara yansıtılması muhasebenin ihtiyatlılık ilkesine uygun bir yaklaşımdır. Bu çalışmanın amacı, inşaat sözleşmelerinde zararın muhasebeleştirilmesi ve raporlanmasının tamamlanma yüzdesi yöntemi açısından ele alınarak örnek yardımı ile açıklanmasıdır |
