Dış ticarette atılan birçok adım etkisini çoğu zaman orta ve uzun vadede gösterir. Bu nedenle ileriye dönük planlar için atılacak her adım şimdiden dikkatle belirlenmelidir. Belirsizliklerle dolu bu sürecin merkezinde ise geleceği doğru bir biçimde tahmin etmek yatar. Bir girişimcinin iflası veya bir işletmenin kapanması, toplumda yalnız bir bireyin zararı değil, aynı zamanda milli ekonominin de bir kaybıdır. Bu nedenle güvenilir bir tahmin planlama sürecinin doğruluğu için zorunludur. Bu kapsamda, çalışmada, dış ticaret hacminin ülkelerin geleceğine yön veren ekonomik bir gösterge olması nedeniyle Türkiye İstatistik Kurumu’ndan edinilen ihracat verisi ile ileriye dönük Türkiye ihracat hacmi Holt-Winters ve Box-Jenkins teknikleri kullanılarak tahmin edilmiş ve teknikler sundukları sonuçlar açısından birçok değerlendirme kriteri altında karşılaştırılmıştır.Anahtar Kelimeler: Uluslararası Ticaret, Box-Jenkins, Holt-WintersJel Kodları: C22, O11ABSTRACTSeveral steps taken in foreign trade mostly show their effect in the medium and long term. Therefore, every step taken for forward planning should be carefully determined. In the center of this process which is full of uncertainties, the concept of forecasting the future accurately lies. An entrepreneur’s bankruptcy or an enterprise’s closure is not only a loss of an individual in society but also a loss for the national economy. That is why a reliable forecast is a necessity for the accuracy of the planning process. In this context, as export volume is an economic indicator that shapes the countries’ future, Turkey’s future export volume is forecasted using the Holt-Winters and Box-Jenkins technics with the export data taken from Turkey Statistical Agency and the technics are compared under several evaluation criterions based on the proposed results.Keywords: International Trade, Box-Jenkins, Holt-WintersJel Codes: C22, O11 |
