Kartezyenci düalite anlayışına karşıgelişen toplumsal inşa kuramı, toplumsal alanın öznel ve nesnel olaraktanımlanan katı sınırlamalarla anlaşılamayacağını vurgular. Toplumsal inşakuramı, toplumsal olana ilişkin bilginin tüm toplumsal aktör ve yapılarınkatılımıyla inşa edildiğini ve yapı ve aktörün ilişkisellik içerisinde olduğunusavunur. Sosyal gerçekliğin nasıl inşa edildiğinin anlaşılmasının amaçlandığıbu çalışmada, inşa kuramında önemli isimler olan Pierre Bourdieu ve Peter LBerger-Thomas Luckmann’ın inşa kuramları ele alınmıştır. Bourdieu’nün alan,habitus ve çıkar gibi değişkenler üzerinden anlamaya çalıştığı toplumsalıBerger ve Luckmann dışsallaştırma, içselleştirme, nesnelleşme ve mutatlaştırma süreçleriüzerinden tartıştığı görülür. Bu bağlamda çalışmamızda Bourdieu ve Berger ve Luckman’ınkuramlarında toplumsal alanın nasıl inşa edildiği ele alınmış, aralarındakibenzerlik ve farklılıklar eleştirel bir değerlendirmeye tabi tutulmuştur. |

The socialconstruction theory developed against Cartesian duality emphasizes that socialspheres can not be understood with strict limitations defined as objective andsubjective ways. This theory argues that the social knowledge is constructedwith the participation of all social actors and structures, and these actorsand structures are relational. This study aims to understand how the socialreality is constructed by discussing Pierre Bourdieu and Peter L. Berger’s& Thomas Luckmann’s theory of social construction. While Bourdieu tries tofigure out the social over habitus, field-camp, and illusio, Berger andLuckmann debate the social over objectification, internalization,externalization and habitualization. In this context, how Bourdieu and Berger’s& Luckmann’s theories construct the social sphere are discussed and the similaritiesand differences in their theories have been assessed. |
