With the I run I que and very beautiful flowers, smell, growth habitus, hundreds of species, thousands of cultivars and different areas of use, roses are among the most used plants both singly or as a group and in masses as filling materials for aesthetic and functional purposes in landscape architecture studies. Different rose habitus provide an opportunity or various uses in landscape architecture studies. The use of tree roses which are obtained by grafting different rose species from the desired height at the top of the stem of a prickle-free and tree-like rose rootstock has been gradually increasing particularly in there cent years, with the Iraesthetic and interesting appearance. Tree roses are used as pot plants besides being used as outdoor ornamental plants. The graft height ranges from 30 to 60 cm in tree roses as pot plants and from 90 to 160 cm in tree roses as outdoor ornamental plants. In this study, information is provide d about the rootstocks, grafts and pruning techniques used in tree roses and the use of tree roses in landscape architecture studies |

Kendilerine özgün, çok güzel çiçekleri, kokuları, büyüme formları, yüzlerce türü, binlerce çeşidi ve farklı kullanım alanları ile güller, peyzaj mimarlığı çalışmalarında estetik ve işlevsel amaçlı dolgu materyali olarak gerek tek veya grup gerekse kitlesel olarak en fazla kullanılan bitkiler arasında yer almaktadır. Farklı gül formları peyzaj mimarlığı çalışmalarında değişik kullanımlara imkan sağlamaktadır. Dikenlerinden arındırılmış bastonsu bir gül anacının gövdesi üzerinde istenilen yükseklikten farklı gül türleri aşılanarak elde edilen baston güllerin kullanımı estetik ve ilgi çeken görünümleri ile özellikle son yıllarda giderek artış göstermektedir. Baston güller dış mekan süs bitkisi yanında iç mekan süs bitkisi olarak ta kullanılmaktadır. İç mekana yönelik baston güllerde aşı yüksekliği 30-60 cm iken, dış mekana yönelik baston güllerde aşı yüksekliği 90-160 cm arasında değişmektedir. Bu çalışmada, baston güllerde kullanılan anaçlar, aşı ve budama teknikleri ile baston güllerin peyzaj mimarlığı çalışmalarında kullanımları hakkında bilgi verilmektedir. |
