Hastaların Patoloji, Ultrasonografi ve Sintigrafi Bulgularının Karşılaştırılması Mustafa Yıldız, Tahsin Minkar Mehmet Numan Tamer ÖzetBu çalışmada yurdumuzun endemik guatr bölgelerinden biri olan Isparta 'da tiroid nodulu olan has¬taların tiroid ultrasonografisi ile tiroid sintigrafisi bulguları patoloji sonuçları ile karşılaştırıldı ve benign ile malign patolojilerde saptanan değişiklikler gözden geçirildi. Bu amaçla İsparta Devlet Hastanesi Genel Cerrahi Kliniklerinde tiroid nodulu tanısı ile öpere edilerek histopatolojik incele¬mesi yapılan 227 hastanın operasyondan önce elde edilmiş olan tiroid ultrasonografisi ve tiroid sin¬tigrafisi sonuçlan ile patoloji bulguları karşılaştırıldı. Dokuz hastada (% 3.9) malignite saptandı. Malignite saptanan hastaların tamamında patolojik tanı papiller karsinoma idi. Dokuz maligniteli hastada saptanan 14 nodul tiroid ultrasonografisi nde solid yapıda olup I2'si lüpoekoik, 2 'si izoeko-il< yapıda idi. Tek nodulu olan hastaların % 5.1'inde, birden fazla nodulu olan hastaların ise % 3, l 'inde malignite saptandı. Malignite tespit edilen hastaların s i nt i g raf is i nde nodul/erin tamamı hi-poaktif idi.Anahtar Kelimeler: Endemik guatr, tiroid nodulu, tiroid kanseri, tiroid ultrasonografisi, tiroid sin¬tigrafisi Abstract The Comparison of Histopathology, Ultrasonography and Scintigraphy Findings in Patients with Thyroid Nodules in Isparta RegionThe alnı of this study is to evaluate the histopathology, ultrasonograplıy and scintigraphy findings in patients vvitlı thyroid nodules in Isparta Region t hat endemic goiters deve/oped, Thyroid scintig¬raphy and thyroid ultrasonograplıy were performed in totaly 227patients with thyroid nodules and the resıılts were compared to the pathological diagnoses after thyroidectomy. Histopathological re-sults were thyroid papillary carcinoma in 9 of 227 patients (% 3.9). We had diagnosed thyroid car cinoına in 14 of 205 solid nodules. We had diagnosed thyroid carcinoma in 12 of 101 hypoechoge-ııic nodules. Neither normoactive nor hyperactive nodules showed malign differantiation. We had diagnosed thyroid carcinoma in 14 of 334 hypoactive nodules. We had diagnosed thyroid carcino¬ma in 5 of 98 patients witlı nodıdar goiters (% 5.1) and in 4 of 129 patients with multinodular go¬iters (% 3.1).
