It’s hardto diagnose the massive air embolism if postmortem computed tomography is notperformed during autopsy or if the organ dissection is not made under water bysuspecting previously. In the case of this suspicion, a good case history alongwith a detailed examination and evaluation of previous clinical information mayserve as a reference point. In this report;it has been presented an autopsy case of massive air embolism due to acomplication of percutaneous nephrolithotomy thatmay be easily missed during autopsy examinations and has been highlighted theimportance of postmortem computerized tomography. |

Masif hava embolisini; otopsi öncesinde postmortembilgisayarlı tomografi çekilmedi ise ya da daha önceden şüphelenerek su altındaorgan diseksiyonu yapılmadı ise tanılamak zor bir durumdur. Bu şüphenin olduğudurumlarda detaylı bir otopsi yanında iyi bir olgu öyküsü ve önceki klinikbilgilerini değerlendirmek tanıda referans nokta olabilir. Bu olgu sunumunda otopside kolaylıkla atlanabilecek perkütannefrolitotomi komplikasyonu olan masif hava embolisi sunulmuş ve postmortem BTgörüntülemenin önemi vurgulanmıştır. |
