dc.description Özet:Paragangliomalar; ‘karotis body tümörü, glomus tümörü, kemodektoma ve reseptoma’ olarak da isimlendirilen; nadir görülen, yavaş büyüyen, nöroendokrin tümörlerdir. En sık görüldüğü bölgeler; karotis kommunis arter bifurkasyonu, juguler foramen, aortik ark ve retroperitondur. Genellikle benign karakterde olan bu tümörler, malign diferansiasyon da gösterebilmektedirler. Bu yazıda biz aort ve vena cavaya yakın komşulukta bir retroperitoneal paraganglioma olgusunu resimler eşliğinde sunmayı amaçladık.Anahtar Kelimeler: Paraganglioma, glomus tümörü, retroperitonealAbstract:Paragangliomas are noroendocrine tumors that seens rarely, progress slowly and named also as ‘carotis body tumors, glomus tumors, chemodectoma and reseptoma’. The regions that paragangliomas are usually located are;carotis communis artery bifurcation, juguler foramen, aortic arch and retroperitoneum. These tumors are usually benign characterised but they can show malign diferantiation. In this writing we aimed to present a retroperitoneal paraganglioma case with pictures which located nearby aort and vena cava.Key Words: Paraganglioma, glomus tumor, retroperitoneal
