Gereç ve yöntem: Çalışmaya Süleyman Demirel Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi Dermatoloji Anabilim Dalı Behçet Polikliniği.nde takip edilen 72 gönüllü Behçet hastası alındı. Hastalara Türk populasyonuna göre uyarlanmış Dermatolojik Yaşam Kalite Ölçeği uygulandı. Bulgular: Aktif ve inaktif dönemde olan Behçet hastalarının toplam DYKÖ puanı sırasıyla 16,83 ± 8,23 ve 8,88 ± 7,58 idi (p=0.00). Behçet hastalarının cinsiyetlere göre dermatolojik yaşam kalitesi düzeylerinde anlamlı bir farklılık izlenmedi. Sonuç:Bu araştırma aktif Behçet hastalarının aktif olmayan hastalara göre dermatolojik yaşam kalitesi düzeyinde belirgin azalma olduğunu göstermektedir. Bu nedenle tüm Behçet hastalarına, hastalığın takip ve tedavi süreci boyunca periyodik olarak DYKÖ uygulanmasının ve gerekli görüldüğünde psikososyal değerlendirme yapılmasının uygun olacağını düşünmekteyiz.Anahtar kelimeler: Behçet hastalığı, hastalık aktivitesi, yaşam kalitesiAbstractAssessing quality of life in patients with Behçet.s diseaseBackground and design: The aim of this study is to evaluate dermatological quality of life levels of the patients with active and inactive Behcet.s disease. Material and Methods: In this study, 72 volunteer patients with Behcet.s disease who admitted to the outpatient of Dermatology at Süleyman Demirel University Medical Faculty were included. Dermatological Quality of Life Instrument adapted to Turkish population was applied to the patients. Results: The dermatological quality of life level of patients with active andinactive Behcet.s disease were 16,83 ± 8,23 and 8,88 ± 7,58 respectively (p=0.00). There was no difference about dermatological quality of life levels between the both sexes in all of the patients with Behcet.s disease.Conclusion: In this study, dermatological quality of life level of patients with active Behcet.s disease was significantly lower compared to the patients with inactive disease. For this reason, we think that all of the patients with Behcet.s disease should be applied the DLQI periodically, and if necessary, psychosocial evaluation should be performed.Key words: Behcet.s disease, disease activity, quality of life |
