Ancak lokal anestezik ilaçlar olgulara, dozuna ve uygulama şekline dikkat edilmediği takdirde ölümle sonuçlanabilecek komplikasyonlara neden olabilmektedirler. Bundan dolayı lokal anesteziklerin farmakolojik yapıları, dozajları, komplikdsyonları, komplikasyonlan önleyici tedbirleri ve tedavileri etraflıca bilinmelidir. Bu makalede sıklıkla kullanılan lokal anestezikler gözden geçirilmiştir.Anahtar Kelimeler: Lokal anestezi, baş-boyun cerrahisi.
