Süleyman Demirel Üniversitesi TIP FAKÜLTESİ DERGİSİ: 1995 Eylül; 2(3) Kronik Sinüzitli Hastaların Preoperatif Değerlendirilmesinde Bilgisayarlı Tomografinin Tanısal DeğeriOrhan Gedikli Harun Doğru Fehmi Döner Meltem Çetin Murat Tan Murat Yarıktaş ÖzetSon dönemlerde kronik ve rekürren sinüzitlerin cerrahi tedavisinde fonksiyonel endoskopik sinüs cerrahisi büyük popülarite kazanmıştır. Bu hastaların preoperatif değerlendirilmesinde nazal endoskopi ve bilgisayarlı tomograjik görüntüleme oldukça gerekli ve faydalı yöntemlerdir. Bu çalışma 16.12.1994 ile 14.12.1995 tarihleri arasında kliniğimizde fonksiyonel endoskopik sinüs cerrahisi uygulanan 52 hasta üzerinde gerçekleştirildi. Hastaların tümüne ameliyat öncesi korona! planda bilgisayarlı tomografi çekildi. Operasyon esnasındaki bulgular kaydedilerek preoperatif bilgisayarlı tomografi bulguları ile karşılaştırıldı. Bilgisayarlı tomografi bulgularının, operasyon bulguları ile % 90.4 uyumluluk gösterdiği saptandı. Anahtar Kelimeler: Kronik sinüzit, tanı, bilgisayarlı tomografi. Abstract The Diagnostic Value of Computed Tomography in Preoperative Evaluation ofPatients with Chronic SinusitisFunctional endoscopic sinüs surgery has recently gained great popularity in surgical treatment of chronic and recurrent sinusitis. Nasal endoscopy and computed tomography are rather necessary and profıtable in preoperative evaluation of this patients. This study was made on 52 patients in v/hom functional endoscopic sinüs surgery was applied in our clinic behveen 16.12.1994 and 14.12.1995. Ali patients undenvent coronal computed tomography studies of the paranasal sinuses preoperatively. The fmdings during the operation were recorded. The computed tomography fındings vere compared vrith the peroperative fmdings. it vasfound that computed tomography shovted harmony at the rate of 90.4 % with the operative fındings.
