Bu iki infantın klinik olarak do¬ğumdan itibaren sık pnömoni epizotları, dehidratasyonları vardı ve yeterli gıda almalarına rağmen kilo almaları ye¬tersizdi. Hastaneye yatışları sırasında hiponatremik, hîpokloremik metabolik alkalozları vardı. Pilokarpin iontoforez metodu ile yapılan ter testinde 1. olguda Cl: 95 mEqlL ve II. olguda Cl: 80 mEq/L bulundu. Diğer sebeplerle ayırıcı tam yapıldıktan sonra hastalar kistikfibroz olarak değerlendirildi. Bu iki olgudan dolayı kistik fibrozu tekrar gözden geçirdik.Anahtar Kelimeler: Metabolik alkaloz, kistikfibroz.ABSTRACT TWO CYSTIC FIBROSIS CASES VVITH HYPOCHLORONATREMIC METABOLIC ALKALOSISCystic fibrosis was diagnosed in two male infants, respectively eight-month-old (case I) and four-month-old (ca-se II). Clinical presentation ofthese two infants has showed frequent episodes ofpneumonia, dehydration, andpoor weight gain, despitefair intake offood since binh. Hyponatremic, hypochloremic metabolic alkalosis hadbeenfound during their hospitalizations. Pilocarpine iontophoresis method ofsweat test showed Cl: 95 mEq/L in case I, Cl: 80 mEq/L in case II. After other causes were exclııded, they were evaluated as cystic fibrosis. Because ofthese two pati-ents we reviewed cystic fibrosis. Key Words: Metabolic alkalosis, cystic fibrosis. |
