This study was to investigate the relationship between chronic urticaria and hepatitis C infection admitted to our clinic with 40 cases of chronic urticaria sure that the same age group and sex of the 40 control cases were included in the study. Hepatitis C viral infection and other laboratory values were considered, no significant difference was found (p>0.05) between the two groups. Finally, according to our findings no relation was found between chronic urticaria and hepatitis C infection. We consider that further and more detailed studies are needed.Key words: Chronic urticaria, hepatitis C virus, anti-HCV |

Kronik ürtiker ile hepatit C infeksiyonu ilişkisini araştırmak amacıyla yapılan bu çalışmada kliniğimize başvuran 40 kronik ürtikerli vaka ile aynı yaş grubu ve cinsiyetten 40 kontrol olgusunun özellikleri prospektif olarak karşılaştırıldı. Çalışmaya dahil edilen tüm hastaların hepatit C serolojisine ve karaciğer fonksiyon testlerine (AST, ALT ve ALP) bakıldı. İki grup arasında hepatit C virüs infeksiyonu ve diğer laboratuar verileri açısından istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir farklılık tespit edilemedi.(P>0.05) Sonuçlarımız kronik ürtiker ile hepatit C infeksiyonu arasında ilişki tespit edilemedi.
