Amaç:Tubularize insizeplak üretroplasti (TIPU) ile yapılan distal Hipospadias onarımlarındasuprapubik diversiyonun post operatif komplikasyonlar üzerine olan etkisiniincelemek. Gereçve Yöntem: VanBölge Eğitim ve Araştırma hastanesi üroloji kliniğine distal hipospadias nedeniylebaşvurup tubularize insize plak üretroplasti (TIPU) yöntemi ile tedavi edilen23 hasta retrospektif olarak incelenerek sistofiksi olan ve olmayanlar olarak 2gruba ayrılmış ve post-operatif komplikasyonlar dökümente edilerek istatikselolarak kıyaslanmıştır. Bulgular:Sadece üretralstent takılan 11 hasta Grup I’i oluştururken, anterior üretral stent ilebirlikte sistofiks takılan 12 hasta Grup II’yi oluşturdu. Yapılan istatikselanalizde suprapubik diversiyonu olan grupta daha az erken ve geç post-operatifkomplikasyonlar gözükmüştür. Sonuç:TIPU ile tedaviedilen distal hipospadias olgularında suprapubik diversiyonun sadece üretralstente göre daha az komplikasyon oranları ve daha fazla hasta komforu açısındantercih edilebilecek bir yöntem olduğunu düşünüyoruz. |

Objective: To investigate the effect ofsuprapubic diversion on postoperative complications in distal hypospadiasrepair performed with tubularized incised plate urethroplasty (TIPU). Materialsand Methods:Twenty-three patients with distal hypospadias who were treated with TIPU in VanTraining and Research Hospital were evaluated retrospectively. Patients weredivided into two groups as follows; Group I consisted only stented patients while Group II was consisted of patients with both anteriorurethral stent and suprapubic diversion. Post-operative complications weredocumented and statistically compared thereafter. Results: Eleven patients who had onlyurethral stenting constituted Group I, while 12 patients with anterior urethralstent and cystofix were group II. Statistical analysis revealed less early andlate post-operative complications in the suprapubic diversion group compared toonly stented group. Conclusion: We think that suprapubic diversionin distal hypospadias cases treated with TIPU is a method that can be preferredin terms of less complication rates and more patient comfort than urethralstent alone. |
