Releasing the outcomes of scientific and clinical studies to the public is an important issue. If products of science are incorrect and misleading whole society is affected. To avoid this situation, the scientific studies are arranged by ethical principles. In the present review, it will be given an information about ethical concepts and rules which are mandatory in the clinical studies which are projection of the scientific studies in the health field. It will also be discussed how the sanctions or punishments are to be applied when ethics violations exist. The way which manage the unethical behavior encountered in the scientific life is good educational process. For this purpose, scientific research counseling centers should be constituted and financial facilities should be improved. Key words: Scientific studies, ethical rules, ethical sanctions |

ÖzetKlinik ve bilimsel çalışmalardan elde edilen sonuçların topluma duyurulması önemli bir husustur. Bilim hayatının ortaya çıkarttığı ürünlerin hatalı ve yanıltıcı olması tüm toplumu etkileyebilir. Bu durumdan kaçınmak için, bilimsel çalışmalar etik ilkeler tarafından düzenlenmektedir. Bu derlemede; bilimsel çalışmalar ve bunların sağlık alanındaki izdüşümleri olan klinik araştırmalar ve bu araştırmalarda uyulması gereken etik kavramlar ve kurallar hakkında bilgi verilecek, etik ihlalleri karşısında ne gibi yaptırımlar ve cezalar uygulandığı tartışılacaktır.Bilim hayatında karşımıza çıkan etik dışı davranışlarla mücadele etmenin yolu; iyi bir eğitim sürecinden geçmektir. Bilimde araştırma eğitimine ve öğretime önem vermek gerekir.
