Obesity is a worldwide pandemic disease. The well defined complications related to obesity are cardiovasculer and respiratory problems, because of their hazardous pattern. Although they could be easily treated, obese people have several dermatologic problems, which effect their life quality. vIn this report, an obese patient with lymphedema due to the recurrent soft tissue infections are presented to remind the dermatologic problems of the obese people.Key words: Skin, dermatology, complication, obesity. |

Obezite tüm dünyada pandemik kabul edilen bir sağlık sorunudur. Obez hastalarda ölümcül seyri nedeniyle kardiyovaskuler ve solunumsal komplikasyonları sıkça gündeme gelmektedir. Ek olarak, bu hastalarda kolaylıkla tedavi edilebilmelerine rağmen yaşam kalitesini bozan cilt infeksiyonlarına da sıkça rastlanmaktadır. Bu olgu sunumunda obez bir hastada tekrarlayan yumuşak doku infeksiyonlarına bağlı ortaya çıkan lenfödem tablosu tanımlanarak, obez hastalardaki dermatolojik problemlerin hatırlatılması amaçlanmıştır.Anahtar kelimeler: Cilt, dermatoloji, komplikasyon, obezite. |
