2450 MHz electromagnetic field is commonly used in our life using different devices such as wireless internet networks, microwave ovens, bluetooth devices. Although these devices make our life easier, they also bring some undesirable results. These effetcs are mostly unheeded and show their real effects after too many years.In this study, we evaluated the effects of 2450 MHz of electromagnetic field on liver tissue. These effects are not considered important and shown in most people by the end of a longtime period because of the effects of electromagnetic field (EMA). In this study, we reviewed the effect of 2450 MHz electromagnetic field on liver tissue and studies investigating the effects of appliances using this frequency on liver tissue. The effect of 2450 MHz electromagnetic field on the liver has been investigated in few studies. Consequently, more studies are required to show the effect of this commonly used electromagnetic field and appliances using this electromagnetic field on body tissues.Key Words: 2450 MHz electromagnetic field, liver, wireless network |

2450 MHz elektromanyetik alan frekansı rutin kullanımda; kablosuz internet ağları, mikrodalga fırınlar, bluetooth cihazları gibi aletlerde yaygın kullanılan frekans olarak karşımıza çıkmaktadır. Bu frekansı kullanan ve yaşamı kolaylaştıran cihazların son yıllarda hayatımıza daha çok girmesi, beraberinde değişik etkileşimleri de getirmektedir. Bu etkiler, çoğu kişi tarafından önemsenmeyen ve etkisini uzun süre sonra gösteren elektromanyetik alanın (EMA) zararlarıdır. Bu çalışmada 2450 MHz elektromanyetik alanın karaciğer dokusu üzerine etkileri ve bu frekansı kullanan cihazların karaciğer dokusu üzerine etkilerini araştıran çalışmalar gözden geçirildi. 2450 MHz elektromanyetik alanın karaciğer üzerine etkisi az sayıda çalışmada araştırılmıştır. Sonuç olarak, yaygın kullanımda olan bu frekans ve bu frekansı kullanan cihazların dokular üzerine etkisini göstermek için daha fazla çalışmaya gereksinim vardır.
