Critical thinking in nursing, is skill and ability to use, use of risk getting creativity to make a decision and knowledge as a result, analysis and synthesis that, evaluation, to acquire, information search, to develop thinking, as an individual aware of his own thinking. Critical thinking is particularly important because of its potential impact on patient care in nursing. Therefore, with the rapid changes in health care and the influx of new technology, nurses must be able to use critical thinking to make clinical decisions that provide optimal patient care.Nurses using and develop critical thinking skills and trends the individual, professional development, improving nursing practice and contribute to society in terms of improving the quality of health care. In this article, the definition of critical thinking, its place in nursing, the ways to assess critical thinking and the results of the scientific studies carried out about critical thinking in nursing are discussed.Key Words:Critical thinking, critical thinking in nursing. |

Hemşirelikte eleştirel düşünme birey kendi düşünmesinin farkında olarak, düşünmesini geliştirmeye yönelik, bilgiyi araması, elde etmesi, değerlendirmesi, analiz ve sentez etmesi, karar vermesi ve bunun sonucunda bilgiye yaratıcılığını da katarak, risk alarak, kullanma yeteneği ve becerisidir. Eleştirel düşünme, hemşirelikte hasta bakımını potansiyel olarak etkilediği için oldukça önemlidir. Bu nedenle hızla değişen sağlık bakım sistemi ve teknoloji nedeniyle hemşireler, optimal hasta bakımını sağlamada ve klinik karar vermede eleştirel düşünmeyi kullanabilmelidir. Eleştirel düşünme eğilim ve becerilerini kullanan ve geliştiren hemşireler bireysel olduğu kadar, mesleki gelişim, hemşirelik uygulamalarının iyileştirilmesi ve toplumun sağlık bakım kalitesinin yükseltilmesi açısından da katkı sağlarlar. Bu makalede, eleştirel düşünmenin tanımı ve hemşirelikteki yerinin yanısıra, eleştirel düşünmenin ölçülmesi ile hemşirelikte eleştirel düşünme konusunda yapılan bilimsel araştırma sonuçları tartışılmıştır.Anahtar Kelimeler: Eleştirel düşünme; hemşirelikte eleştirel düşünme. |
