The aim of this study is to examine, according to certain variables, theattitudes of secondary school students towards visual arts classes. The study is adescriptive study and is a screening model. The population of thesurvey consists of students at secondary schools in a province in SoutheasternAnatolia. The sample consists of 412 students from the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4thclasses at the secondary schools. Participants were determined by using convenience sampling as one of thenon-random sampling techniques. "Attitude Scale Toward Visual Arts Class”developed by Aslantaş (2012) was used. Descriptive statistics, t-test as one of theparametric tests and single direction variance analysis were used. As a conclusion ofthe survey, a significant difference was found in the attitudes of secondaryschool students towards visual arts classes from the perspective of theirgender. In the survey, a significant difference was found in favor of thefemale students. In the survey, a significant difference was found in theirattitudes towards visual arts classes from the perspective their class levelsand their fathers’ education levels. The survey could not find a significantdifference between their attitude towards visual arts classes and their socio-economiclevels as well as the education levels of their mother. |

Bu araştırmanın amacı,ortaokul öğrencilerinin görsel sanatlar dersine yönelik tutumlarının çeşitlideğişkenler açısından incelenmektir. Araştırma betimsel bir çalışma olup taramamodelindedir. Araştırmanın evrenini, 2016-2017 eğitim-öğretim yılında GüneyDoğu Anadolu Bölgesi'nde bir ilde ortaokulda öğrenim gören öğrencileroluşturmaktadır. Örneklemini ise ortaokul 1, 2, 3 ve 4. sınıflarda öğrenimgören 412 öğrenci oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada rastgele olmayan örneklemetekniklerinden uygun örnekleme yöntemi kullanılarak katılımcılarbelirlenmiştir. Araştırmada, "Görsel Sanatlar Dersine Yönelik Tutum Ölçeği"kullanılmıştır. Verilerin analizinde, betimsel istatistik, bağımsız örneklemlert-testi ile tek yönlü varyans analizi kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda,ortaokul öğrencilerinin görsel sanatlar dersine yönelik tutumları arasındacinsiyetleri açısından anlamlı farklılık olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.Araştırmada kız öğrencilerin lehine anlamlı farklılık elde edilmiştir.Araştırmada, ortaokul öğrencilerinin görsel sanatlar dersine yönelik tutumlarıile sınıf düzeyleri ve baba eğitim durumları arasında anlamlı farklılık eldeedilmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda, ortaokul öğrencilerinin görsel sanatlardersine yönelik tutumları ile sosyo-ekonomik düzeyleri ve anne eğitim durumlarıarasında anlamlı farklılık elde edilmemiştir. |
