Koruyucugiysiler, giyen kişi ve potansiyel risk kaynağı arasında tampon görevi gören,giyen kişinin hayatını korumaya yönelik olarak üretilen teknik giysilerdir.Koruyucu giysiler giyen kişinin korunması hedeflenen tehlikeye göre çeşitligruplar altında incelenmektedir. Çalışanları yüksek sıcaklıktan korumak içinüretilen itfaiyeci giysisi, termal koruyucu giysiler grubunda yer almaktadır.Termal koruyucu giysilerin kalın ve çok katmanlı olması gerekmekte olup, kumaşkatları arasında yer alan boşluk koruyucu giysinin koruma performansını önemliölçüde etkilemektedir. Bu çalışmada itfaiyeci giysilerinin termal korumaözelliklerinin geliştirilmesi ve çalışmanın çıktılarının akıllı koruyucugiysiler konusunda literatüre katkı sağlaması hedeflenmiştir. Bu amaçla kumaşkatmanları arasına şekil hafızalı yaylar entegre edilerek, giyside yaratılanhava boşluğunun giysinin termal koruyucu özellikleri üzerindeki etkisi tespitedilmiştir. Yapılan testler sonucunda, kumaş katmanları arasına yayyerleştirilmesiyle oluşan hava boşluğu sayesinde kumaşların radyan ve konvektifısıya karşı dirençlerinin arttığı belirlenmiştir. Yay uzunluğu arttıkça, kumaşkatları arasındaki hava boşluğu artmakta ve buna bağlı olarak ikinci dereceyanık oluşumu için geçen süre uzamakta, giysinin koruma performansıiyileşmektedir. |

Protectiveclothing are technical garments that are produced to protect the wearer's lifeas a buffer between the wearer and the potential source of risk. Protectiveclothing is examined under various groups according to the intended hazardwhich the person aimed to be protected. Fire fighter’s suit which is under thegroup of thermal protective clothing is produced to protect the workers fromhigh temperatures. Thermal protective clothing must be thick and multi-layered,and the air gap between the fabric layers significantly affects the protectionperformance of the protective clothing. In this study, it was aimed to improvethe thermal protection properties of fire fighter’s suits and to contribute tothe literature with the outputs of the study in respect of smart protectiveclothing. For that purpose, shape memory springs were integrated between thefabric layers to determine the effect of the air gap created by shape memorysprings, on the thermal protective properties of the garment. According to testresults, it is determined that the fabric's resistance to radiant andconvective heat increased due to the air gap formed by the spring insertionbetween the fabric layers. The amount ofair gap between fabric layers increases when the spring length increases,accordingly time until second degree burns extends and the protectionperformance of the clothing improves. |
