Bu çalışmada Bursa ilindeki Botaş Basketbol Takımı Miniklergrubu (8-10 yaş) ve Yıldızlar grubu (14 yaş) erkek çocukların antropometriközellikleri ile bazı performans değerleri ölçülerek, antropometrik veriler ileperformans arasındaki ilişkilerin incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Minikler grubundan25, yıldızlar grubundan 8 çocuk olmak üzere toplam 33 erkek oyuncudan oluşanörneklem grubu ile yapılan bu çalışmada; basketbol performansı ile ilgiliolabilecek uzunluklar, çevresel ölçüler ve deri kıvrımı kalınlıkları olmaküzere toplam 23 antropometrik parametre ölçülmüştür. Performans ölçümü olarakise 20 metre hız testi, yatay (ileri) sıçrama ve beceri istasyonu ölçümlerigerçekleştirilmiştir. Parametre ölçüm değerleri ve test sonuçları istatistikselolarak analiz edilmiş, her bir antropometrik parametre – performans değeriçifti için korelasyon katsayıları hesaplanmıştır. Böylece oyuncunun performansıüzerinde etkili olabilecek antropometrik parametrelerin ve etkilerininbelirlenmesi hedeflenmiştir.Bu çalışmadan elde edilen sonuçlar ile basketbol sporundayetenek seçimi ve basketbol sporuna yönlendirme alanındaki mevcut literatüre,ayrıca spora ve sporcuya yapılacak yatırımların daha verimli olması konusundayapılacak yeni çalışmalara katkı sağlanacaktır. |

In this study, it wasaimed to investigate the relationships between anthropometric measures andperformance by measuring the anthropometric characteristics and someperformance values of Botas Basketball Team Ages 8-10 group and Ages 14 groupboys in Bursa. The study was carried out on a sample group consisting of 33basketball players, 25 from 8-10 age group and 8 from 14 age group. A total of23 anthropometric parameters were measured, including lengths, circumferencesand skinfold thickness that could be related to basketball performance, Forperformance test; a 20-meter speed test, horizontal (forward) jump and skillstation measurements were performed. Parameter measures and performance testresults were analyzed statistically and the correlation coefficients for eachanthropometric parameter - performance value pair were calculated. Thus, it wasaimed to determine the anthropometric parameters and their effects which canaffect the performance of the basketball player.Theresults obtained from this study will contribute to the selection of talent inbasketball sports and the existing literature in the field of basketball sportorientation, as well as new studies to be done on the efficiency of sports andathletic investments. |
