In this study, it is aimedto investigate periodical structures of annual and seasonal total precipitationsbelong to two stations (Sinop and Amasya) located in Middle Black Sea region.Continuous wavelet transform and global wavelet transform were used for thisaim. So, the effective periodical components in annual and seasonalprecipitations were determined. Besides, change with time of these periodicalswere revealed. As result, the effective long term periodicals in annualprecipitations were determined at 8 and 16 year scale level for Sinop andAmasya. The results show also that thereare strong periodic events at 1-2 scale years in the seasonal precipitationdata. These periodicities may be also considered as related to the strong ElNino and La Nina events. |

Bu çalışmada Orta Karadeniz bölgesinde yer alan iki istasyona (Sinop veAmasya) ait yıllık ve mevsimsel toplam yağışların zamansal ve periyodikyapılarının incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Bunun için global dalgacık dönüşümü vesürekli dalgacık dönüşümü yöntemlerinden yararlanılmıştır. Yıllık ve mevsimselyağışlar içerisinde periyodik etkin bileşenler belirlenmiştir. Buperiyodikliklerin zamansal olarak değişimi de ortaya konulmuştur. Sonuç olarakSinop ve Amasya yıllık yağışları için önemli uzun dönem periyodikliklerin 8 ve16 yıllık olduğu belirlenmiştir. Ayrıca mevsimsel yağışlarda güçlü kısa dönem(1-2 yıl arası) bazı periyodiklikler vardır. Bunların El-Nino La-Nina gibiküresel atmosferik olaylarla ilgili olduğu düşünülmektedir |
