Mimarlık ve cinsiyet ilişkisi, farklıkültür ve coğrafyalarda, çeşitli mimari temsillerle biçimlenmiş, farklıdisiplinlerce ele alınmış, farklı perspektifler barındıran geniş bir çalışmaalanı olarak görülmektedir. Kadının ‘ev’ ile ilişkisi özellikle yirminciyüzyılın ikinci yarısından sonraki tartışmalarda önemli bir konu olmuştur. Bumakalede, cinsiyet ile mimarlık mekânı arasındaki ilişki üzerindedurulmaktadır. Farklı kültürlerin farklı dönemlerde cinsiyet olgusu ile mimariürün arasında kurduğu ilişki irdelenirken, evsel alanda yaşanan cinsiyetedayalı mekânsal ayrışma irdelenmektedir._________________________________________________________________________________Gender of HouseAbstractThe relationship betweenspace and gender, which has been structured architecturally with differentpresentations in different cultures and geographies, which has been studied bydifferent disciplines and that covers different perspectives, has been viewedas an extensive study area. In this article, therelationship between gender and architectural space is covered.
