This study aims to include data as to the use of tablet PC (iPad) in music applications, hardware employed in making music with iPad, and major music software (applications) from various categories. The model of literature review has been utilized to collect the relevant data for the study. This study deals with in detail the hardware (audio/MIDI interfaces, microphones, MIDI keyboards, dock stations, mixers, DJ controllers, iPad compatible sound cards) and software (virtual instruments, multitrack audio recording applications, music notation softwares, applications aiming to develop musical knowledge and skills, music games and musical tools/utilities) that are utilized to produce music. The importance of this study lies in the fact that it will function as a resource for both those who will do work on mobile music and educators who wish to make use of tablet PC technology in music education. |

Bu çalışmada, müzik uygulamalarında tablet bilgisayar (iPad) kullanımına ilişkin bilgilere ve iPad ile müzik yapmada kullanılan donanımlar ile farklı kategorilerdeki belli başlı müzik yazılımlarına (uygulamalar) yer vermek amaçlanmıştır. Araştırma için gerekli verilerin toplanmasında kaynak taraması modeli kullanılmıştır. Çalışmada, iPad ile müzik yapmak için kullanılan donanımlar (ses/MIDI arabirimleri, mikrofonlar, MIDI klavyeler, dock istasyonları, mikserler, DJ kontrol üniteleri, iPad uyumlu ses kartları) ve yazılımlar (sanal enstrümanlar, çok kanallı ses kayıt uygulamaları, nota yazım uygulamaları, müzikal bilgi ve becerileri geliştirmeye yönelik uygulamalar, müzikal oyunlar ve birtakım yardımcı yazılımlar) detaylı bir şekilde ele alınmıştır.
