AlejandroAlmanza Pereda, Meksika asıllı bir heykel sanatçısıdır. Sanat hayatı boyuncaçeşitli ülkelerde ve şehirlerde bulunarak sanatsal üretimlerinigerçekleştirmiştir. 15. İstanbul Bienalinde ülkemizde tanınırlığı artan sanatçının;heykel, enstalasyon, video ve fotoğraflarının merkezinde yer alan denge, herçalışmasında farklı bir yönü ile karşımıza çıkmaktadır. Araştırmadayer alan eserler, sanatçının farklı dönemlerde üretmiş olduğu ve farklı özellikleresahip eserlerinden seçilmiştir. Almanza ile yapılan yazılı görüşmeleraracılığıyla kendisi ile ilgili kaynaklara erişim sağlanmıştır. Buaraştırmadaki eserler; Terry Barrett’in sanat eleştirisine yönelik önerdiğifarklı sanat eleştirisi yaklaşımlarının ve kuramlarının birlikte kullanıldığıkapsayıcı bir yöntemle analiz edilmiştir. Ayrıca literatür taraması sonucu eldeedilen veriler, sanatçıyla yapılan video röportajların incelenmesi vearaştırmacıların sanatçı ile yazışmaları sonucu elde edilen veriler kullanılarakeserler kavramsal çerçevede tartışılmıştır. Sanatçı, eserlerini üretirkenduyduğu heyecan, hassas ve güçlü ögelerin karşıt eşleştirmeleri sonucu kurduğuriskli denge ile izleyiciye çarpıcı izlenimler sunmaktadır. |

Alejandro Almanza Pereda is a Mexican sculpture artist who realized artistic productions in many places throughout his art life. The balance comes out in a different direction in every study of artist.Theworks in the research were selected from works with distinctive features thatthe artist produced in different periods. Throughthe written interviews with Almanza, the resources were provided access. In thisstudy, the works of the artist were analyzed by Terry Barrett 's inclusivemethod of using different approaches and theories of art criticism for artcriticism. In addition, the workswere discussed in the conceptual framework by using the data obtained after theliterature search, the video interviews made with the artist and the resultsobtained from the researchers' correspondence with the artist. Theartist presents striking impressions to the audience with the risky balance hehas created as a result of the excitement he receives as he reproduces hisworks, the contrasts of sensitive and powerful characters. |
