Sivas, tarihinin çeşitli dönemlerinde birçok devlete başkentlik yapmıştır. Bu yüzden hem ticari hem de kültürel yönden çok önemli bir kimliğe sahiptir ve her dönemde yapılan sayısız eserlerle doludur. Selçuklular döneminden camiler, türbeler; Osmanlılar döneminden han, kervansaray, hamamlar, imaretler bulunmaktadır. Geçmişteki bu yapıtların gelecekle buluşabilmesindeki önemli nedenlerden biri de malzeme olarak mermerin kullanılmasıdır. Sanat eserlerinde, yapılarda doğal taşlar arasından en çok mermerin tercih edilmesinin nedeni ise görsellik ve dayanıklılıktır.Günümüzdeki eserlerde mermerin etkisi incelendiğinde; son zamanlarda seramik, beton vs gibi yeni çıkan ürünlerin yapılarda birçok alanda kullanılması ve işçilik maliyetlerinin çok yüksek olmasından dolayı mermer sadece lüks yapı türlerinin mimarisinde kullanılmaktadır. Oysaki dünyanın en büyük rezervlerini bağrında saklayan Anadolu'nun mermerle işi henüz bitmemiştir. Mermerin kendine has yapısından dolayı, yapılan her ürün tektir, özeldir, bir başka benzeri yoktur. Bu da sanatsal açıdan bakıldığında değerini bir kat daha artırmaktadır. Bu çalışma ile Sivas'taki tarihi eserlerde mermer kullanımı araştırılmıştır. Therefore, it has an important identity both commercial and cultural aspects and it is full of numerous works which were made in different period. There are mosques, tombs from the Seljuk era and inns, caravanserais, baths and imarets from the Ottoman era. The most important reason of this work is reconciled from the past to the future is using marble as a material. From the natural stones, marble is mostly preferred at works and buildings due to its visuality and durability. When the effects of marble on today's works are examined, the marble is only used at the architecture of luxury types of buildings due to the usage of newly invented products such as ceramic, concrete and etc. recently in many areas and very high labor costs. Although Anatolia has the biggest reservation, marble issue has not been investigated sufficiently yet. Every production made from marble is unique because of its specific structure. So, it increases much more its value on its own value from artistic point of view. In this study it was tried to emphasize the importance of the marble by studying the use of marble at historic artifacts in Sivas.Key Words: Sivas, Marble, Historic Artifact. |
