In this research, theoretical texts from the field of architecture-concerned with the aesthetics of architecture- from antiquity to present areanalyzed in terms of aesthetic value. The research was carried out by revealingthe architectural contexts in which these texts were written and values included,to understand and classify the ontological statuses of these values. From thegathered data, it is discovered that the profession of architecture became morespecified and gained importance along with the practicing architect. On theother hand, the changes at the aesthetic value-gaining/judgement processes werediscovered to be closely related with increasing subjectivity and increasingimportance of rationalist thought, in parallels with professional specificationand increasing importance and effectiveness of the ‘subject’. In such a context, ontologically, four different value statuses wereencountered. The effects of the ontological shift between these statuses on thesemantical content of architectural texts, were interpreted afterwards. |

Bu çalışmada, Antik Dönem’den günümüzeortaya konmuş estetik odaklı mimarlık kuramları estetik değer yönündenincelenmiştir. İncelemede, kuramların yazıldıkları mimarlık ortamları ve bukuramların yer verdikleri değerler ortaya konmuş, bu sayede de değerlerinontolojik (varlıkbilimsel) statülerine ulaşılıp, bu statülerin anlamlandırılıpsınıflandırılması sağlanmıştır. Bu çerçevede, tarihsel süreçte mimarlığın gittikçedaha çok ‘bir uzmanlaşma alanı’ haline geldiği ve uygulayıcısı mimar figürüyle birlikte önemkazandığı görülmüştür. Değer kazanma/değerlendirilme şemalarında ise, meslekiuzmanlaşma ve ‘özne’nin artan önem ve etkinliğiyle paralellik kurulabilecek şekilde, öncebir öznelleşme ve akılcılaşma, ardından ise bir önem kaybı ile karşılaşılmıştır.Bu bağlamda ontolojik anlamda da, birbirinden farklı dört değer statüsüyle karşılaşılmış,bu değerlerin ontikstatülerindeki değişimlerin mimarlık kuramlarının anlamsal içerikleri açısındanönemi yorumlanmaya çalışılmıştır. |
