It was aimed to investigate whether there is arelation between some socio-demographic variables and the attitudes of studentsabout cheating in the exam, opinions and self-esteem levels in this study. Thisresearch is a descriptive study in the relational screening model. Students ofÇukurova University Primary School Teaching Department formed the sample of theresearch. A total of 734 students, 481 female and 253 male, participated in theresearch. As measurement tools; Attitude Scale for Cheating, Opinion Surveyregarding Cheating, and Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale were used. When the resultsof the research were investigated, it was seen that there was no significantdifference between the students' gender and cheating attitudes. It was observedthat when the class level increased, the negative attitudes of the studentstowards cheating in the exam went up at the same time. It was found thatstudents who cheated on exams in high school had a more positive attitude ofcheating in college than those who did not. In addition, students with a high GPA were found to be more negativeattitude compare than those who had a low GPA. There was no significantrelationship between students' attitudes towards cheating and self-esteem. |

Buçalışmada sınıf öğretmenliği öğrencilerinin bazı sosyo-demografik değişkenlerile kopya çekmeye ilişkin tutumları, görüşleri ve benlik saygısı düzeyleriarasında bir ilişkinin olup olmadığının incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Bu araştırmailişkisel tarama modelinde betimsel bir çalışmadır. Araştırmanın örnekleminiÇukurova Üniversitesi Sınıf Öğretmenliği Anabilim Dalı öğrencilerioluşturmuştur. Araştırmaya 481’i kız, 253’ü erkek olmak üzere toplam 734öğrenci katılmıştır. Ölçme araçları olarak; Kopya Çekmeye İlişkin Tutum Ölçeği,Kopya Çekmeye İlişkin Görüşler Anketi ve Rosenberg Benlik Saygısı Ölçeğikullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonuçları incelendiğinde öğrencilerin cinsiyet ilekopya çekme tutumları arasında anlamlı bir fark olmadığı görülmüştür. Sınıfdüzeyi arttıkça öğrencilerin kopya çekmeye ilişkin olumsuz tutumlarının arttığıanlaşılmıştır. Lisedeyken kopya çeken öğrencilerin, çekmeyenlere göreüniversitede daha olumlu bir kopya çekme tutumuna sahip oldukları bulunmuştur.Ayrıca genel not ortalaması yüksek olan öğrencilerin, düşük olan öğrencileregöre kopya çekme tutumları daha olumsuz bulunmuştur. Öğrencilerin kopya çekmetutumları ile benlik saygısı arasında anlamlı bir ilişki bulunmamıştır. |
