Background and aim:The aims of this research are todetermine the status of women throughout the province of Isparta and to examinethe relationship between the parameters education status, employment statusgeneral health and reproductive health of women.Material and MethodsPopulation of this cross-sectionalsurvey, carried out in 2012, is the 15-49 age group women living in Ispartaprovince (N = 105.826). The sample size was calculated with STATCALC program as 905. The data was evaluatedwith the program SPSS15.0. Chi-square and t-test were usedfor the analysis.Results24.6% ofall women (n = 222) works in a job that brings revenue. The level of educationincreased, the percentage of women working in a job that brings revenueincreased (p<0,001).Working women or educated with high school orover had better health perceptions (respectively p<0,05 and p<0,001).% 27.9 of women had been marriedwhile 18 years old or under. Adolescent marriage was less common among workingwomen or educated with high school or over (respectively p<0,001 and p<0,001).ConclusionIn the research areathe most important finding is the high adolescent marriage according to wholecountry. The efforts to increase woman's participation in working life and toraise the age of marriage of woman will be the important keys to improve theamendment of the status of women. |

Amaç:Bu araştırmanın amacı Isparta il genelinde kadınınstatüsünü belirlemek; kadınların eğitim ve çalışma durumu ile genel sağlık veüreme sağlığı parametreleri arasındaki ilişkiyi incelemektir.Gereç ve Yöntem:2012 yılındagerçekleştirilen kesitsel tipteki bu araştırmanın evrenini Isparta il sınırları içerisinde yaşayan 15-49yaş grubu kadınlar oluşturmaktadır (N=105.826). Örnek büyüklüğü; STATCALCprogramı ile 905 kişi olarak belirlenmiştir. Veriler SPSS 15.0 Programı ile değerlendirilmiştir.Analizlerde ki-kare ve t testi kullanılmıştır. Bulgular:Kadınların %24,6’sı(n=222) gelir getiren bir işte çalışmaktadır. Eğitim düzeyi arttıkça gelirgetiren bir işte çalışan kadınların yüzdesi artmaktadır (p<0,001). Çalışan kadınların ve lise ve üstünde eğitim almış olanların sağlıkalgıları daha iyidir (sırasıyla p<0,05ve p<0,001). Kadınların %27,9’u onsekiz yaş ve altında evlendirilmiştir. Çalışan ve lise ve üstünde eğitim almışolan kadınlar arasında adolesan evlilik (sırasıyla p<0,001ve p<0,001) ve adolesan gebelik daha azgörülmektedir (sırasıyla p<0,01ve p<0,001). Sonuç:Araştırmanınyapıldığı bölgede öne çıkan en önemli bulgu adolesan evliliklerin ülke genelinegöre yüksek olmasıdır. Kadının çalışma hayatına katılımını artırmaya ve evlenmeyaşını yükseltmeye yönelik çabalar, kadının statüsünü iyileştirmesini sağlamadaönemli anahtarlar olacaktır. |
