In the present century, an integratedlifestyle with changing perception of comfort and technological developmentsalso affects physical space designs. This process of change is reflected in theexpectations and demands of the students who are the main users of thedormitories. The dormitories are not only a place for housing and working areasbut also a new role that contributes to the socialization of students. Thescope of this research is the definition of student dormitory architecturalproject design process and spatial demands and expectations. Especially in thelast 10 years, the number of universities in our country has led to an increasein the housing problems of undergraduate and graduate students. In thiscontext, student dormitory projects are carried out by public or privatesector. The aim of this study is to determine the basic characteristics for thestudent dormitory building planned for Hasan Kalyoncu University and to sharethe experiences gained in the building design process. This also includes aprocess design. In the study, an architectural design process that includesuser participation in the example of dormitory and the space organization thatemerged at the end of this process are defined. The findings of the study showthat the expectations of the social activity and recreation areas, as well asthe changing areas of life, working areas, have changed in the current century.However, there are new expectations from the dormitories in the context ofdeveloping technological relations. On the one hand, the findings obtained fromthe research provide an innovative approach to the architectural design processand on the other hand provide important clues for the new dormitory buildingsin the public, private and public-private sector. |

İçindebulunduğumuz yüzyılda değişen konfor algısı ve teknolojik gelişmeler ilebütünleşik bir yaşam tarzı, fiziksel mekân tasarımlarını da etkilemektedir. Budeğişim süreci öğrenci yurtlarının asıl kullanıcıları olan öğrencilerinbeklenti ve taleplerine de yansımaktadır. Öğrenci yurtları salt barınma veçalışma alanlarının karşılandığı bir yer olmaktan öte öğrencilerinsosyalleşmesine katkı sağlayan yeni bir rol üstlenmektedir. Bu araştırmanınkapsamı öğrenci yurdu mimari proje tasarım süreci ve mekânsal talep vebeklentilerinin tanımlanmasıdır. Özellikle son 10 yılda ülkemizde artanüniversite sayısı, lisans ve lisansüstü düzeydeki öğrencilerin barınmaproblemlerinin artmasına yol açmıştır. Bu kapsamda kamu veya özel sektör eliyleöğrenci yurdu projeleri yapılmaktadır. Bu çalışmanın amacı, Hasan KalyoncuÜniversitesi için planlanan öğrenci yurt binası için temel özelliklerin tespitedilmesi ve elde edilen bina tasarım sürecinde elde edilen deneyimlerinpaylaşılmasıdır. Bu aynı zamanda bir süreç tasarımını kapsar. Araştırmadaöğrenci yurdu örneğinde kullanıcı katılımını sürece dâhil eden bir mimaritasarım süreci ve bu süreç sonunda ortaya çıkan mekân organizasyonutanımlanmaktadır. Araştırmada elde edilen bulguların, İçinde bulunduğumuzyüzyılda değişen yaşama, çalışma alanlarının yanı sıra sosyal aktivite verekreasyon alanları beklentilerinin önem kazandığını göstermektedir. Bununlabirlikte gelişen teknolojik ilişkiler bağlamında yurt binalarından yenibeklentiler oluştuğu görülmektedir. Araştırma sonucunda elde edilen bulgularbir taraftan mimari tasarım sürecine ilişkin yenilikçi bir yaklaşımgeliştirirken diğer taraftan ülkemizde kamu, özel ve kamu-özel sektör ortaklığıçerçevesinde yeni yapılacak öğrenci yurdu binaları için önemli ipuçlarısunmaktadır. |
