Kınalızâde Ali Efendi’ye göre iyi davranışlar bir kaynaktan ve bir gereksinme sonucu ortaya çıkarlar. Bu kaynak tabiidir veya bir kimsenin ortaya koymasına dayanır. Kaynağı tabii olanlar değişmezler ve pratik felsefenin konusudurlar. Peygamber vb. bir kimsenin ortaya konmasıyla meydana gelenler ise zamana bağlı olarak değişebilirler. Buna ilahi yasa denilir.
