Dilin ve değerin tahlili felsefe, tarih, iktisat, siyaset ve uluslararası ilişkiler olmak üzere pek çok disiplinin konu edindiği bir alandır. Bu husus, örtülü bir şekilde ele alınmış olsa bile, zaman bakımından düşünce tarihi ile eşdeğer bir mevzu görünümündedir. Diğer taraftan, “dil felsefesi”nin sistematik bir ilgi alanı olarak ortaya çıkmasından itibaren, dil ve değer hakkındaki izahlar analitik düzeyde ele alınmakta ve böylelikle, dilde kullanılan her bir kelime veya kavram nihai noktaya kadar sorgulanmaktadır. Bu yaklaşımlara dair bir mukayese ise, sadece herhangi bir toplumun algılarına dair biçimsel bir analiz ortaya koymamakta, bilakis dilin ve değerin izah edildiği metodolojik bir çerçeve sunmaktadır |

Analysis of language and value is an issue many areas like philosophy, history, economics, politics and international relations relate to. This issue, even though discussed in a disguised manner, seems to be an equivalent subject to the history of thought. On the other side, since the emergence of philosophy of language as a systematic study area, the explanations on language and value are discussed in an analytical level, and then the context of each word or concept used in language is thoroughly investigated. A comparison between these perspectives both represents a formal analysis of the perception any society has and reveals a methodological framework in which language and value are described |
