İslâm felsefesinde Meşşâî ekolün önemli temsilcilerinden biri olan İbn Rüşd, Tanrı’nın bilgisi ile varoluş arasında mutlak bir ilişki kurar ve Tanrı’nın bilgisinin, varlığın nedeni olduğu düşüncesini benimser. Bu bilgiyi de Tanrı’nın kendi zâtını bilmesi olarak kabul eder. Ayrıca o, Tanrı’nın bilgisinin insanın bilgisine benzemediğine dikkat çeker. Bu çalışmada, İbn Rüşd’ün, Tanrı’nın bilgisi ile varoluş arasındaki ilişkiye dair düşünceleri özellikle Tanrı’nın kendi zâtını bilmesi çerçevesinde ele alınacaktır |

Averroes who is one of the main representatives of the Peripatetic school in the Islamic Philosophy, establishes an absolute correlation between the God’s knowledge and the existence and adopts the idea that the of God’s knowledge is the reason for being. He accepts this information as God know own essence. He also draws attentions that God’s knowledge not look like the human’s knowledge. In this study, Averroes’s thoughts about the relation between God’s knowledge and existence will be discussed more specifically in the context of God to know own essence |
