Bu çalışmada, değişen çalışma hayatı rutininde kadınların karşı karşıya geldikleri sorunların çözümü için dünya genelinde oldukça prestiji olan Uluslararası Çalışma Örgütü'nce (ILO) kabul edilen sözleşme hükümleri ve sosyal haklara ilişkin olan Avrupa Sosyal Şartı'nda belirtilen standartlara Türkiye'nin gösterdiği uyum incelenmektedir. Çalışmada özellikle yıllar itibariyle ILO Sözleşmeleri ve Avrupa Sosyal Şartı çerçevesinde gerçekleşen mevzuat yeniliklerine değinilmiştir. Bu sebeple tarihsel sürece yer verilen çalışmada Türkiye'de önemli dönemlerin özelliklerine de yer verilmiştir. TÜİK verileri ile Türkiye'nin kadın istihdamına ilişkin profili çıkarılmak istenen çalışmada yapılan mevzuat yenilikleri akabinde bu yasal mevzuatın ILO Standartları ile Avrupa Sosyal Şartına oldukça uyumlu olmasına rağmen uygulamada suistimallere açık olduğu ve toplumdaki, kadının asıl görevinin ev işleri olduğuna ilişkin inancın kadının çalışma hayatını olumsuz anlamda şekillendirmeye devam ettiği, devletin tüm kamu kurumları aracılığıyla gerçekleştirdiği planlar dahilinde bu inanışın yıkılmasına odaklandığı ve kadını çalışma hayatında güçlü konuma getirmeye yönelik politikalar uygulamaya gayret ettiği belirlenmiştir. In this study, conformity shown by Turkey to convention provisions which are accepted by Interneational Labour Organisation (ILO) and specified standards in European Social Charter which is related social rights for the solution of the problems of women in the changing working life routine. In this study, especially, legistative innovations which are realized by years within the framework of ILO Conventions and European Social Charter are mentioned. For this reason, given place to historical process in the study, also the characteristics of important periods of Turkey have been included. The study which is wanted to create the profile of Turkey's women workforce with TUIK datas, following the legislative innovations, although the legal legislation is quite compatible with the ILO Standarts and the European Social Charter, it is determined that legislations are open to abuse in practice and the belief of housework is the main task of women in society continue to shape of women work life negatively, the government focuses on the demolition of this belief within the plans realized by all public institutions and tries to implement policies to bring the women to a strong position in working life.
