Krizler küreselleşme olgusunun hayatımıza girdiği 1980'li yıllardan itibaren en fazla üzerinde durulan hususlar arasına girmiştir. ABD'de 2007'de birtakım sorunlarla kendini gösteren ve 2008 sonu itibariyle gelişmekte olan ülkeleri de etkisi altına almaya başlayan, dünya finans tarihinin en büyük krizlerinden biri olarak kabul edilen bir global ekonomik kriz yaşanmıştır. Bu çalışmanın amacı 2008 Global Ekonomik Krizinin Türkiye özelinde bireysel kredilere yansımalarını irdelemektir. Çalışma kapsamında analiz edilen veriler 2008 yılının beş yıl öncesi ve beş yıl sonrasını (2003-2013) kapsayacak şekilde ele alınmıştır. 2008 ekonomik krizine giden süreç ve krizin kredi arz ve talebinde yarattığı değişimin ortaya koyduğu ekonomik sonuçlar irdelenmiştir. Kriz ortamında tüketicilerin kredi talebindeki değişimi ölçümlemek adına anket çalışması gerçekleştirilmiştir. Çalışmada kriz ortamında tüketicilerin kredi taleplerindeki değişim mal ve hizmet grupları, eğitim düzeyi, gelir düzeyi, meslek ve yaş gibi çeşitli kategorilere ayrılarak değerlendirilmiştir. Bu değerlendirmede, kriz ortamında söz konusu tüketici gruplarının kredi kullanım alışkanlıklarında önemli değişimler olduğu görülmüştür. Crises have become one of the most emphasized issues since 1980, when the phenomenon of globalization entered our lives. The crisis that emerged with some problems in the USA in 2007 affected the developing countries in late 2008. The global economic crisis, which is considered one of the biggest crises in the history of world finance, has been experienced. The aim of this study is to examine the implications of the 2008 Global Financial Economic Crisis on individual loans in Turkey. The data analyzed within the scope of the study covers five years before and five years after 2008. The process leading to the 2008 economic crisis and the economic consequences of the change in the credit supply and demand of the crisis are examined. A survey was carried out to measure the change in credit demand of consumers in crisis environment. In the academic study, the change in the credit demands of consumers in the crisis environment was evaluated in various categories such as goods and services groups, education level, income level, occupation and age. In this assessment, significant changes in the credit usage habits of these consumer groups were observed in the crisis environment.
