20 yy. konçertoları, klasik müziğe bir yenilik getirmekten ziyade eski dönem konçertolarının form ve konçerto anlayışını tekrarlayarak, biçim yeniliğinin ötesinde melodi ve stil farklılıkları ile müzik repertuvarını zenginleştirmişlerdir. En çok bilinen ve yorumlanan viyola konçertolarının arasında çoğunlukla Bela Bartok, Paul Hindemit ve Alfred Schnittke gibi büyük bestecilerin eserleri öne çıkmaktadır. Geçmiş dönemlerde viyola çalgısına bakış açısının “ikinci derece keman” şeklinde olduğu bilinmektedir. Bu bakış açısı 20.yy.da oldukça farklılaşmış, viyola çalgısı, önemli viyola icracıları sayesinde konçerto literatüründe hakkettiği yeri almıştır. Viyola çalgısını farklı bir konuma taşıyan en önemli viyola virtüozlerinden birisi de hiç şüphesiz Yuri Bashmet’dir. Yuri Bashmet’e viyola çalgısının tüm karakterini yansıtan farklı 50-den fazla konçerto ithaf edilmiştir. Bu çalışmada genel bir perspektifte 20. yy. Viyola konçertoları ve bu konçertolara Yuri Bashmet’ın etkisinin ortaya konulması amaçlanmıştır. |

Repeating the form and concerto understanding of old periods, rather than bringing an innovation to classical music, 20th centuries concertos have enriched the music repertoire with style and melody differences beyond the form innovation. Major composers such as Bela Bartok, Paul Hindemit and Alfred Schnittke’s works are among the most known and interpreted viola concertos. It is known that the viola instrument was perceived in the form of “second degree violin” in the past periods. This perception has become quite differentiated in the 20th century, and by means of important viola players, viola instrument has taken its place in the concerto literature. Undoubtedly, Yuri Bashmet is one of the most important viola virtuosos who carried the viola instrument to success. Yuri Bashmet has been dedicated to different more than 50 concertos which reflect the full character of the viola. In this study, it is aimed to present 20th centuries viola concertos and Yuri Bashmet’s effects on these viola concertos by a general perspective. |
