After World War II, developing welfare state approach, people and groups that constituted a risk society (the elderly, disabled, poor) has come to the fore with activities aimed to give to the community. Ensuring the continuation of society and the state for the formation of a peaceful environment is difficult to continuous produce social policies. Social municipality with the way the local of this policy, and society often excluded, for the poor and patients; human and community center in general terms, taking the name of social policies produced. It made for people who have poor and needy soup kitchen, clothing, food, medicine, stationery, fuel assistance, welfare-based activities such as scholar ships granted to students, to create the initial social municipality and is seen as widespread with each day.In this study, after the theoretical foundations of social municipality, Denizli Metropolitan Municipality to address the level of perception and benefit for social municipality services, for example, is given in empirical research |

II. Dünya savaşı sonrası gelişen sosyal refah devleti anlayışı, toplumda risk teşkil eden kişi ve grupları (yaşlılar, engelliler, yoksullar) topluma kazandırmaya yönelik faaliyetleri ile ön plana çıkmıştır. Toplumun devamının sağlanması ve huzurlu bir ortam oluşabilmesi için devletler sürekli sosyal politikalar üretmek zorundadır. Bu politikaların yerelde uygulanma şekli olan sosyal belediyecilik ise toplumun genellikle dışlanmış, yoksul ve hasta gruplarına yönelik; insanı ve genel anlamda toplumu merkeze alarak üretilen sosyal politikaların adıdır. Yoksul ve muhtaç olan kimselere yönelik yapılan aşevi, giyecek, gıda, ilaç, kırtasiye yardımları, yakacak yardımı, öğrencilere verilen burs gibi sosyal yardım merkezli faaliyetler, sosyal belediyeciliğin başlangıcını oluşturmakta ve her geçen gün yaygınlaştığı görülmektedir. Çalışmada sosyal belediyeciliğin teorik temelleri verildikten sonra, Denizli Büyükşehir Belediyesi örneğinde sosyal belediyecilik hizmetlerine yönelik algı ve faydalanma düzeyini ele alan ampirik bir araştırmaya yer verilmektedir. |
