Bu çalışmanın amacı, paranın yaratılma süreci ile vergi hasılatı arasındaki nedensellik ilişkisini Kartalist Yaklaşım bağlamında Türkiye örnekleminde değerlendirmektir. Bu bağlamda 1975 ile 2014 yılları arasındaki döneme ait yıllık vergi hasılatı ve para arzı (M2) verileri derlenmiştir. Analiz sürecinde ise Johansen Eşbütünleşme ve Granger Nedensellik Testleri kullanılmıştır. Uygulanan testlere göre para arzı ile vergi hasılatı değişkenleri arasında uzun dönemde eşbütünleşik bir ilişki bulunmaktadır. Elde edilen sonuçlar, toplam (dolaylı ve dolaysız) vergi hasılatından para yaratılma sürecine istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir nedensellik ilişkisinin varlığını da göstermektedir. Bu sonuçlar, Kartalist Yaklaşımın paranın vergiye dayalı yaratılması sürecine yönelik görüşlerini desteklemektedir. |

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the causality between the creation process of money and tax revenue in the sample of Turkey within the context of Cartalist Approach. In this context, annual tax revenue and money supply (M2) data, which are included for the period between 1975 and 2014, are compiled. In the analysis process Johansen Cointegration and Granger Causality Tests are used. According to the tests, there is a long term cointegrated relationship between money supply and tax revenue. The results also indicate that there is a statistically significant causal relationship to the money creation process from the total (indirect and direct) tax revenue. These results support the views of the Cartalist Approach, which is about to the process of the creation of taxed based Money. |
