Bu araştırma, 2012 yılında yürürlüğe giren ve 2014 yılında fiili olarak uygulanmaya başlayan 6360 sayılı kanun ile ilgili yerel halkın görüşlerinin belirlenmesi amacı ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda yerel halkın konu ile görüşlerinin “büyükşehir belediye hizmetleri”, “ilçe belediye hizmetleri”, “yasadan haberdar olma”, “yasanın amacı ve etkisi”, “yasanın demokratikliği” ve” yasaya ait uygulamanın bilinirliği” başlıkları altında toplandığı belirlenmiştir. Bulgular incelendiğinde katılımcıların Büyükşehir Belediyesinin hizmetleri geçmişe göre yeterli etkinlikte sunmadığı, İlçe Belediyesinin ise nötr duruma yakın bir düzeyde etkin sunduğu görüşündedir. |

This study was conducted to determine the local public opinion in regard to "the law on the establishment of fourteen provinces metropolitan municipalities and twenty seven districts and the amendment of resolutions in some laws and statutory provisions" which became valid in 2012 and came into effect in 2014. The results revealed that the opinions of local residents have been factored under “metropolitan municipality services”, “district municipality services”, “awareness of the law”, “objective and effect of the law”, “democratization of the law” and “awareness of law enforcement” headings. According to the findings, the participants have the opinion that the metropolitan municipality does not offer sufficient services compared to the past, and the distinct municipality is effective at a level close to neutral. |
