Bu çalışmada, engelli istihdamının zorunlu olduğu kamu ve özel sektör kurum ve kuruluşlarında çalışan engelli bireylerle görüşmeler yapılarak özelde Gümüşhane’de genelde ise Türkiye’de engellilerin çalışma yaşamında karşılaştıkları sorunların tespit edilmesi amaçlanmaktadır. Tekil ve ilişkisel tarama modeli tipinde olan bu çalışmada Gümüşhane ilinde kamuda 70 özelde 65 toplamda 135 engelli birey ile görüşülmüştür. Araştırmanın verileri, araştırmacı tarafından hazırlanan bir görüşme formu yardımıyla toplanmıştır. Formda çalışan engellilerin demografik özellikleri, çalışma yaşamlarına ve engel durumlarına ilişkin özellikleri, çalışma yaşamlarında karşılaştıkları sorunlar ve bu sorunların çözümüne ilişkin görüş bildirilen sorular yer almaktadır. Veriler, araştırmacı tarafından yüz yüze yapılan görüşmeler yoluyla elde edilmiştir. Elde edilen verilere göre özel sektörde çalışan engellilerin sendikaya üyeliği oldukça düşük seviyede olduğu sendikaya sıcak bakılsa da sendikalı olmaktan çekinildiği bilgisine ulaşılmıştır. Ayrıca engelli bireylerin, erişilebilirlik ve istihdam konularında yapılan çalışmaları yetersiz bulduğu, çalışma yaşamı içerisinde ve gündelik yaşamındaki haklarını tam anlamıyla bilmediği ve genellikle vasfına uymayan işlerde çalıştıkları sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. |

In this study, through interviews with employees with disabilities working in the public and private sector instutions and organizations, where disabled employment is compulsory, is intended to identify the problems faced by the working life of people with disabilities in particular in Gümüşhane and throughout Turkey. In this study, both singular and correlational screening models were used, and 135 disabled individuals were interviewed, 70 in public sector and 65 in private sector, in Gümüşhane province. The data of the study was collected with the help of an interview form prepared by the researcher. The form includes the demographic characteristics of disabled people, their characteristics related to their working life and disability, the problems they face in their working lives and the opinions about the solution of these problems. The data were obtained through face-to- face interviews by the researcher. According to the data obtained, it is found that disabled people working in the private sector have a very low membership to the union and that even though they are close to the union, they refrain from being unionized. In addition, it has been concluded that disabled people find the studies conducted on accessibility and employment inadequate, do not fully know their rights in working life and daily life and generally work in jobs that do not comply with their qualifications. |
