Eğitim faaliyetleri bireyin hayatında önemli bir rol oynamaktadır. Eğitim faaliyetleriyle bireyler kişisel kapasitelerini arttırma olanağı elde etmekte, kendilerini yenileyebilmekte, değişimlere daha kolay adapte olabilmekte ve performanslarını arttırma olanağına kavuşabilmektedirler. İnsan kaynaklarının geliştirilmesi ve doğru şekilde yönlendirilmesi eğitim faaliyetleriyle mümkün olmaktadır. Eğitim faaliyetleriyle bireyler kendi kariyer yollarını belirleyebilmekte ve mesleki tercihlerini oluşturabilmektedir. Mesleki eğitim faaliyetlerinin gelişimi açısından da eğitimde iletişim teknolojilerinin kullanımı önem arz etmektedir. Uzaktan eğitim faaliyetleri eğitimin gelişmesi açısından birçok fırsatlar sunmaktadır. Son yıllarda iletişim teknolojilerinin gelişimiyle eğitim farklı bir boyut kazanmış ve “uzaktan eğitim” kavramı ortaya çıkmıştır. Bu çalışmanın amacı Türkiye’de mesleki eğitimin gelişimi açısından uzaktan eğitim faaliyetlerinin öneminin incelenmesidir. Uzaktan eğitim faaliyetlerinin gelişmesiyle öğrenme ortamının olumlu yönde nasıl etkilendiği ve uzaktan eğitimle ilgili eksiklikler üzerinde durulmuştur. Birinci bölümde giriş, ikinci bölümde uzaktan eğitim kavramı, üçüncü bölümde uzaktan eğitim faaliyetlerinin avantajları ve dezavantajları verilmiş, dördüncü bölümde Türkiye’de mesleki eğitimin gelişmesi için uzaktan eğitim faaliyetlerinin önemi üzerinde durulmuş, beşinci kısımda Türkiye’de uzaktan eğitimde toplam öğrenci sayıları ve uzaktan eğitim veren bazı meslek yüksekokulları verilmiş ve son kısımda sonuç ve değerlendirme yapılmıştır. |

Education activities play an important role in the life of the individual. They are able to increase their personal capacities by training activities, renew themselves, become easier to adapt to changes and gain the opportunity to increase their performances. By the help of the training activities human resources can be developed and can be directed correctly.With training activities, individuals can identify their own career pathways and create Professional preferences. For developing vocational education activities the usage of communication technology at education is important. Distance education activities give opportunities for developing education. In recent years, with the development of communication technologies, education has gained a different dimension and the concept of "distance education" has emerged. This study’s aim is to analyze the importance of distance education activities for developing vocational education in Turkey. It has been emphasized how the learning environment is affected positively by the development of distance learning activities and the deficiencies about distance learning. In this study, at the first part introduction; at the second part the definition of distance education were given, at the third part the advantages and disadvantages of educational activities were emphasized and at the fourth part the importance of distance education activities for developing vocational education in Turkey and at the fifth part , the total number of students in distance education in Turkey and the number of distance education of some vocational schools were given.At the last part result and evaluation were determined. |
