Son yüzyılda meydana gelen küreselleşme faaliyetleri sonucunda ülkelerin birbiriyle olan etkileşimi artmış ve ülkeler arasında yoğun rekabet başlamıştır. Türkiye, 1980 sonrasında uyguladığı serbestleşme politikaları ile bir yandan kapalı ekonomik politikalardan kurtulmaya çalışarak küresel rekabet yarışından pay almayı amaçlamış diğer yandan da Avrupa Birliği (AB) ile tam üyelik için önemli mesafeler kat etmiştir. Türkiye’nin AB üyelik sürecinde tamamlaması gereken yeterliliklerinin başında sağlıklı bir ekonomik düzen gelmektedir. Sağlıklı ekonomik düzenin işleyebilmesinin en önemli sağlayıcılarından biri sağlam bir finansal sistemin varlığıdır. Günümüzde ülkelerin finansal sisteminin temelini ise bankacılık sistemi oluşturmaktadır. Bu çalışmada, bankacılık sektörüne ait 8 temel gösterge yardımı ile Türkiye ve Avrupa Birliği üyesi olan 28 ülkenin bankacılık sektörü 2014-2016 yılları için VIKOR yöntemi kullanılarak karşılaştırılmıştır. Analiz sonuçlarına göre yıllar itibariyle ilk 4 ülkenin sıralaması benzerlik göstermektedir. Türkiye ise 2016 yılı bankacılık sektörü sıralamasında ilk beşte yer almaktadır. |

As a result of globalization activities in the last century, the interactions between countries have increased. In addition, intense competition have started between countries. Turkey, on the one hand with liberalization policies imposed after the 1980 off trying to get rid of economic policy has aimed to take a share of global competition, on the other hand, it has made significant progress for full membership with the European Union (EU). At the beginning of the qualifications required to complete Turkey's EU membership process has come to have a healthy economic order. One of the most important providers of a healthy economic order is the existence of a sound financial system. Todays, the banking system constitutes the basic of the financial system of countries. In this study, Turkey and 28 countries that are members of the European Unions were compared using the VIKOR method with 8 basic banking indicators help for the years 2014 to 2016. According to the results of the analysis, the ranking of the first 4 countries is similar in years. Turkey in the ranking of the banking sector in 2016, is located in the top five. |
