Kur'ân-ı Kerîm Allâh'ın gönderdiği, kıyâmete kadar bâki kalacak, insanlığa hayat yolunda rehber olan son ilâhî kelamdır. İnsanlığın Kur'ân'da bulunan emir ve yasakları yerine getirmesi ile huzur ve sükûnete kavuşması mümkündür. Maddî ve mânevî açıdan doyumsuz hale gelen insanoğlu, bu durumun sonucunda çeşitli ekonomik sıkıntılar yaşamaktadır. Yaşanan ekonomik bunalım insanın iç dünyasını olumsuz etkilemektedir. Ahlâkî çöküntülerin ve aşırılıkların neden olduğu bitkin ruh haline sahip insanı bu durumdan kurtarmak, mutlu etmek; onun dünya nimetlerinden iktisadlı bir şekilde yararlanması ile mümkün olabilmektedir. Allâh Teâlâ insanın, dünya ve âhiret mutluluğu için doğru yola yönelmesini, asla bulunduğu yolu terk etmemesini, her türlü aşırılığı terk etmesini buyurmaktadır. Kur'ân'da orta yolu tutmuş insanların yaptıklarından övgüyle söz ederek diğerlerine numune-i imtisâl bir toplumu inşa edeceklerini bildirmektedir. Bu çalışmada Kur'ân'da 3 yerde geçen "muktesıd/مقتصد" kelimesinin semantik analizi yapılmıştır. "Muktesıd/مقتصد": Parasını, malını, ömrünü, vaktini boşa harcamayan, isrâf ve cimrilik etmeyen, iktisadlı, tutumlu, lüzumsuz masrafta bulunmayan; doğru yola yönelmiş, iki aşırı uçtan uzak, maddî ve mânevî dengeyi kurabilmiş, istikrarlı bir şekilde orta yolu tutan kimse demektir. Sent down by Allâh, Qur'an which will be protected until the Day of Resurrection and will guide the human beings is the last divine Vahiy of Allâh. Via obeying the rules of Qur'an and avoiding prohibitions of Qur'an, it is possible for human beings to find peace and become tranquil. Human beings who become insatiable in terms of material and spiritual aspect, as a result of this situation are experiencing various economic troubles. These problems affect human beings' inner world negatively. It is possible to recover, satisfy, and make happy the depressed mood of human beings caused by moral corruption and exorbitance via using wealth of the world economically. Allâh commands people to turn to the right path for the happiness of the world and of the hereafter, never to leave the way they are in, and to leave all kinds of excesses. Allâh praises the people who have taken the right way in the Qur'an and says that they will build a sample society. In this survey, the semantic analysis of the word "muktesıd/مقتصد" mentioned 3 times in Qur'an is conducted. "Muktesıd/مقتصد" means the person who is purified from every exorbitance, find the peace and go in the right direction consistently.
