Tezin kousu "Zerdüştîliğin Temel Öğretileri"dir. Konu temelde Zerdüştîliğin kutsal kitabı Avesta, Pehlevîce yazılmış Zerdüştî metinler ile Zerdüştîlik uzmanları ve araştırmacılarının çalışmalarından faydalanılarak hazırlanmıştır. Tezde, dini içerden anlama şeklindeki din fenomenolojisi yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Çalışma, Zerdüştîliğin dinî rehberi Zerdüşt'ü tanımak, Zerdüştîlerîn kutsal ve dinî metinlerini tanıtmak ve Zerdüştîliğin temel öğretilerini açıklamak ile sınırlı tutulmuş, dinin ritüelleri ya da yaşayan Zerdüştîlik ve Zerdüştîler dışarıda bırakılmışır. Tezin amacı, Zerdüştîliğin temel öğretilerini ortaya koymak, bu öğretilerin arka planına ve anlam dünyasına inmektir. Bu çalışmayla İranî düşüncenin ana kolunu oluşturan Zerdüştîlik öğretilerinin felsefî ve irfanî manalarını yakalamak hedeflenmiştir. Çalışmanın sonunda, Zerdüşt'ün kuvvetle muhtemel bir peygamber olduğu, tek Tanrı Ahuramazda'ya inandığı, Tanrı'nın alt mertebesinden itibaren tüm varoluşta bir düalitenin varlığına olanak tanıdığı, kötülüğün yanlış seçimin bir sonucu olarak ortaya çıktığı, özgür seçim ve amelî hayata büyük önem atfedildiği, ruhun ölümsüz olduğu ve ölümden sonra diğer bir hayatın başladığı; cennet, cehennem, araf, sırat, kurtarıcı gibi dinlerdeki merkezi konuların Zerdüştîlik'te de bulunduğu sonucuna varılmıştır. The subject of the thesis is "Basic Teachings of Zoroastrianism". The topic is prepared mainly based on the Avesta, Zoroastrian sacred books, Zoroastrian texts written in Pahlavi and the studies of experts and researchers on Zoroastrianism. In the thesis, the method of religious phenomenology wich requires the way of understanding from the inside of the religion is used. The study was limited to recognizing the religious guide of Zoroastrianism, Zarathustra, introducing the sacred and religious texts of the Zoroastrianism and explaining the basic teachings of Zoroastrianism, and the current rituals of the religion or living Zoroastrian and Zoroastrianism were excluded. The aim of the thesis is to put forth the basic teachings of Zoroastrianism, to penetrate into the background of these teachings and the world of meaning. With this work, it was aimed to capture the philosophical and mystical aspects of the Zoroastrian teachings, which constitute the main branch of Iranian thought. At the end of this work, it was concluded that Zarathustra is a highly probable prophet, he believes in the only God Ahuramazda and enables the existence of a duality in the entire existence from the lower order of God, evil emerges as a result of wrong choice, free election and action life are of great importance, the soul is immortal and another life begins after death and heaven, hell, araf, secret, savior, etc. the central subjects in religions have also been found in Zoroastrianism.
