Avrupa'da meydana gelen reform süreci beraberinde modernizmi de getirmiştir. Modernizm ile birlikte de geleneksellik geri plana itilmiş, yeni dini oluşumlara kapı aralanmıştır. İnsanlar kendilerinde oluşan manevi boşluğu bu oluşumlarla doldurmak istemiştir. Bu da 1960'lı yılların sonu ile 1970'li yılların başında Yeni Dini Hareketlerin oluşmasına sebep olmuştur. Çok farklı kültür ve inanç gruplarına sahip olan Hindistan da bu tarz yeni dini hareketlere ev sahipliği yapmıştır. Hinduizm kökenli birçok yeni dini hareket ortaya çıkmış, artarak devam etmektedir. Bunlardan birisi de çalışma konusu olan Hare Krishna Hareketidir. Hare Krishna(Krişna) Hareketi Tanrı Krişna'yı ön planda tutan, Swami Prabhupada tarafından oluşmuş; bugün Batı Avrupa ve Amerika'da mabetlerinin sayısı her geçen gün artan Hint kökenli dini teşkilattır. Bu çalışmanın amacı ise; yargılamadan uzak, realist bir şekilde Hare Krishna Hareketinin ortaya çıkışını, kökenlerini, ilahiyat ve dünya ile ilgili görüşlerini ve günümüzdeki durumunu ortaya koymaktır, tanıtmaktır. People wanted to fill the spiritual void in them with these formations. This led to the formation of New Religious Movements in the late 1960s and early 1970s. India, which has many different cultural and belief groups, has also hosted such new religious movements. Many new religious movements originating from Hinduism have emerged and continue to grow. One of them is the Hare Krishna Movement, which is the subject of study. The Hare Krishna (Krishna) Movement was formed by Swami Prabhupada, which puts God Krishna in the foreground; Today, the number of shrines in Western Europe and the United States is an increasing religious organization of Indian origin. The aim of this study is; The aim of this course is to introduce the emergence of Hare Krishna Movement, its origins, theology and the world and its present situation in a realistic way, far from judgment.
