Sosyalleşme bireylerin gerekli normlar ve değerlere göre öğrenim sürecini kapsayarak yaşam boyunca süren en önemli sosyal olgudur. Karşılıklı toplumsal ilişkilere dayanan bu süreç nesilden nesile aktarılarak genellikle, aile koşulların çevresinde şekillernir. Günümüzde eğitim alanları, iş ortamları, sosyal medya, oyun portalları, sivil toplum kuruluşları vb. gibi bir çok toplumsal alanlar bireylerin sosyalleşmesini doğrudan ya da dolaylı bir şekilde etkiler. Modernitenin beraberinde getirdiği bu toplumsal alanda sadece kentsel kesimler değil, artık kırsal kesimlerde de verimli sosyalleşme imkanları gerçekleşmektedir. Bu araştırmada, sosyalleşme kavramından hareketle, ortaokul çağındaki çocukların kentsel ve kırsal yapıda sosyalleşme şekillerinin incelenmesi, sosyal çevre koşullarının bireylere olan etkisi ve sosyalleşmenin çocuklar üzerindeki etkilerinin belirlenmesi amaçlanmaktadır. Socialization is the most important social phenomenon that continues throughout life by covering the learning process of individuals according to the necessary norms and values. This process, which is based on mutual social relations, is generally passed around from generation to generation and takes shape around family conditions. Today, many social areas directly or indirectly affect the socialization of individuals such as education, business environments, social media, game portals, non-governmental organizations etc. In this social environment, there are efficient socialization opportunities not only at urban areas, but also at rural areas which is the affect of modernity. In this study, it is aimed to examine the socialization patterns of middle school children in the urban and rural structure, to determine the effects of social environment on individuals and the effects of socialization on children.
