Ahlâk Felsefesi, insanlık tarihi boyunca gelişimi sürdürmüş, konuları ve kaynakları itibariyle günümüze kadar birçok araştırmanın temel meselesi olmuştur. Biz de bu çalışmamızda Ebü'l-Ferec İbnü'l-Cevzî'nin et-Tıbbu'r-Râhânî ve Zemmü'l-hevâ adlı eserleri başta olmak üzere kaleme almış olduğu diğer eserlerinden istifade ederek ahlâk anlayışını ele aldık. Çalışma, bir giriş ve iki ana bölümden oluşmaktadır. Giriş kısmında önce İbnü'l-Cevzî'nin hayatı ve eserlerine değinildi, ardından onun görüşleri ve ahlâkî fikirleri ile ilgi yapılan çalışmalar hakkında literatür değerlendirmesi yapıldı. Tezin birinci bölümünde İbnü'l-Cevzî'nin ahlâk anlayışının genel yapısı ve ahlâkî görüşlerinde kullanmış olduğu temel kavramlara yer vererek, onun tevarüs ettiği ahlâk teorileri değerlendirildi. İkinci bölümde ise İbnü'l-Cevzî'nin et-Tıbbu'r-Rûhânî ve Zemmü'l-Hevâ adlı eserlerinden hareketle insanın ahlâkî yapısı ve ahlâkî fazilet olarak değerlendiği iyilikler ve ahlâkî hastalık olarak zikrettiği reziletler diğer İslam düşünürleri ile mukayeseli olarak incelendi. Ethics Philosophy has continued its development throughout the history of humanity and has been the main issue of many researches in terms of its subjects and resources. In this study, we have discussed the ethics understanding by taking advantage of the other works of Ebu'l-Ferec Ibn al-Jawzi written by him, especially the works of et-Tıbbu'r-Ruhânî and Zemmü'l-Hevâ. The study consists of an introduction and two main sections. In the introduction, firstly Ibn al-Jawzi's life and works are mentioned and then literature review is made about his views and studies about his moral ideas. In the first part of the thesis, the general structure of Ibn al-Jawzi's understanding of morality and the basic concepts used in his moral views are evaluated and the moral theories he adopts. In the second chapter, Ibn al-Jawzi's et-Tıbbu'r-Rûhânî and Zemmü'l-Hevâ are examined in comparison with other Islamic thinkers in terms of the moral structure of human beings and the good deeds that are regarded as moral virtues. In the conclusion in part of the thesis, it is stated where Ibn al-Jawzi's moral understanding stands in the history of Islamic thought.
