Güdümlü Tiyatro, bazi oyun yazarlari ve entelektüeller tarafindan mevcut bozuk ve sefil sosyal koşullari, yolsuz siyasetçileri ve sistemi düzeltmek için halki kişkirtarak eyleme geçiren tiyatro akimlarindan birisi olarak kullanilir. Yirminci yüzyilin başlarinda Komünist Partinin, fikirlerini ve düşüncelerini halka yaymak için "Agitprop" terimi kullanilmaya başlanmiştir. Çalişma, edebi bakiş açisindan Güdümlü Draman'in, tiyatro eserlerindeki derinliği ortaya çikarmak için nasil kullanildiği ele alinmaktadir. Güdümlü Tiyatro ve edebiyattaki kullanimlari için daha geniş bir tanim vermek zordur. Edward Bond (1934-)'un Saved, Early Morning, Lear, Bingo, The Fool ve The Bundle oyunlari Güdümlü Tiyatro unsurları bakımından eleştirel bir bakış açısıyla ele alınmıştır. Çalışma ayni zamanda Güdümlü Tiyatro hareketinin yukarida bahsedilen oyunlardaki başkahramanlar ve diğer karakterler üzerinde nasil etkiler biraktiğini ve uygulandiğini ele almaktadir. Bahsi geçen oyunlardaki olaylarin yazildiklari dönemdeki gerçek sosyal olaylarla çok yakindan ilişkili olduklari ve bunlari nasil yansittiklari da incelenmektedir. Bir yazar olarak Edward Bond tiyatro sanatini toplumu değiştirebilecek yegâne araçlardan birisi olarak görmüş ve çalişmamizda ele aldiğimiz oyunlarinda siyasi ve toplumsal değişimde tiyatronun ne kadar etkili olduğunu göstermiştir. Bond'un siyaseten zengin oyunlari siyasi ve toplumsal alanlardaki mevcut konulari ele almaktadir. Bond'un siyasi içerikli oyunlari, toplumsal değişim için toplumsal bilincin uyandirilmasini teşvik etmektedirler. Agitprop theatre is one of the theatrical movements used by some playwrights and intellectuals in order to provoke the public against the corrupted political figures and systems in addition to the current miserable social conditions. It is worth mentioning that the Communist Party at the beginning of the twentieth century adopted the term "Agitprop" to propagate its ideas and thoughts popular. The study will attempt to find out the agitprop adaptation in various scenes as it provides deeper insight into agitprop drama in literary perspective. It will try hard to identify a broader definition for the term agitprop drama and its usages in literature. The study analyses Saved, Early Morning, Lear, Bingo, The Fool and The Bundle plays by Edward Bond (1934- ) where it provides an analytical and critical reading for the agitprop elements and its depiction in these plays. The study also deals with the presence and impact of the agitprop movement how it has been employed by the protagonists and other characters of the above mentioned plays. The study also aims at how the events of the plays are explicitly linked to the real events depicting the period in which they were written. How Edward Bond deals with the political and social events as an artist who believes in art as a means for social change have been examined and discussed as in the above mentioned plays. Bond's plays, with a political flavour, deal with the current incidents in the political and social scenes. They encourage the social consciousness and calling for a change.
