Bu çalışmada Nuveyrî'nin hayatı ile ilgili ana kaynaklardan hareketle ele alınmış; onun dönemindeki siyasî duruma, hocalarına; onun edebî şahsiyet ve eserlerine değinilmiştir. Nuveyrî'nin, Nihâyetu'l-Ereb adlı eserinde Arap dili ve Arapça konularını ele alışı, ansiklopedisinin özellikleri, muhteviyatı, yöntemi ve değeri incelenmiştir. Memlukler Öncesi Ansiklopediler; onun belâgata yaklaşımı, belâgat üsluplarını ortaya koyuşu, bu üslupları eserinde uygulayışı ve ayrıca Arap meselleri, edebiyatı ve edebî eleştirisi ele alınmıştır. Etkilendiği müellifleri veya etkilediği müelliflere yer verilmiştir. Özellikle bir kâtipte bulunmasını gerekli gördüğü esaslara dikkat çekilmiştir. This study, Nuveyrî's life is handled from the main sources; the political situation in his period, to his teachers; his literary personality and works are mentioned. Nuveyrî's study of the Arabic language and Arabic subjects in his book, Nihāyta'l-Ereb, the features, content, method and value of his encyclopedia were examined. Pre-Mamluk Encyclopedias; his approach to doom, his manifesting narrative style, his application of these styles to his work, as well as his Arab prose, literature and literary criticism. The authors affected or affected the authors. In particular, the principles he considered necessary to be found in a clerk. The properties of this work are presented to the world of science.
