Bu tez çalışmasında Amasya ilindeki ambalaj atıklarını toplama ayırma işlemlerinin değerlendirilmesi ele alınmıştır. Bu amaç doğrultusunda öncelikle atık yönetimi, ambalaj atıkları, sıfır atık, ülkemizde ve diğer ülkelerde ambalaj atıklarının yönetimi konuları irdelenmiş ve detaylandırılmıştır. Daha sonra, Amasya İli özelinde ambalaj atıklarının toplanması ve ayrılması işlemlerine değinilmiştir. Son aşamada ise Amasya ilinde yaşayan öğrenciler, kamu çalışanları ve halk ile ambalaj atıkları hakkında bir anket çalışması yapılmış ve bu sayede tez çalışması desteklenmiştir. Anket çalışması, Amasya ilinde yaşayan, çalışan ve okuyan 3 ayrı grup ile yapılmıştır. 1. grup kamuda çalışan 132 kişi ile yapılmıştır. Kamu çalışanlarına yapılan anket çalışması 19 sorudan oluşmaktadır. 2. grupta 132 tane öğrenci yer almaktadır. Öğrenciler için hazırlanan anketin soru sayısı 13'tür. 3. grup anket çalışması ise sokakta halk ile yapılmıştır. 20 sorunun yer aldığı bu anket çalışması, 100 kişi ile yapılmıştır. 3 ayrı grup şeklinde yapılan anket çalışması toplamda 364 kişiye uygulanmıştır. Anket çalışmasının güvenilirliğini belirlemek amacıyla ve uygulanan anket sonucunda toplanan verilerin istatistiksel analizi için SPSS istatistik programı kullanılmıştır. Anket verilerinin analizinde ki-kare testi uygulanmış ve belli değişkenlere göre anket sorularına verilen yanıtlar değerlendirilerek sonuçlar elde edilmiştir. Yapılan veri analizlerinden çıkan sonuçlar doğrultusunda, bulgular yorumlanmış ve yeni fikirler öne sürülmüştür. In this thesis, the evaluation of packaging waste collection and separation processes in Amasya Province was discussed. For this purpose, first of all, waste management, packaging wastes, zero waste and packaging waste management in our country and other countries were examined and detailed. Then, the collection and separation of packaging wastes in Amasya Province were mentioned. In the last stage, a survey was conducted on the packaging wastes with students, public employees and the public living in Amasya and this thesis was supported. The survey was conducted with 3 different groups living, working and studying in Amasya Province. The first group consisted of 132 public employees. The survey conducted to public employees consists of 19 questions. In the second group there are 132 students. The number of the questionnaire prepared for the students is 13. The third group survey was conducted with the public on the street. This questionnaire was conducted with 100 questions. The questionnaire, which was conducted in 3 groups, was applied to a total of 364 people. SPSS statistical program was used to determine the reliability of the survey and for the statistical analysis of the data collected at the end of the survey. Chi-square test was used in the analysis of the questionnaire data and the answers given to the questionnaire questions were evaluated according to certain variables and the results were obtained. According to the results of the data analysis, the findings were interpreted and new ideas were proposed.
