Râzî Tefsiri Mefâtîhu'l-Ğayb orta dönem tefsirlerindendir. Kendisine has tarzıyla dönemine ait meseleleri seçkin bir üslupla ele alması bu sahada önemli bir yeri olduğunu göstermektedir. Râzî'nin rivâyet ve dirâyet metodunu aynı anda mezcederek bununla birlikte kelâmî bir yöntemle de konuları desteklemesi tefsir sahasındaki konumuna işaret etmektedir. Şefaat konusu reddedenler ve kabul edenler bağlamında hala güncelliğini korumaktadır. Bu tartışmalı mevzu her bir tarafın çeşitli delillerle kendi görüşünü destekleme noktasında günden güne farklı bir boyut kazanmaktadır. The tafseer of Râzî is belong to "second term tafseers" group. The tafseer's mentioningthe matters which its term ın a qualified style shows that it has a very important place on this field. Besides the philosophical approach, its combining both narrating and objective methods to support the subjects points to its special locationon the tafseer discipline. We are going to examine the verses that passes "shefaat" based upon the subjects not according to order of 'Mushaf' in the Holy Quran. If we consider that this matter keeps ıts actuality and taking discussions on it today, it will be reasonable for this matter to evaluate by quoting from the big scholars who has got an important location on tafseer branch.
